Red and blue colors reversed in samsung dlp after replacing color wheel

\015 I have recently replaced the color wheel in my samung DLP put it all back together and and now the red and blue colors are reversed on the screen and even in the menu. I was told to remove the jumper on the board in the small rectangular hole to correct this issue. One problem there is no jumper to be removed on my tv where indicated online. Nor is there posts to put a jumper on. Please if anyone knows how to rectify this situation I would be greatly appreciative.\015

My Samsung DLP 5663W was making the loud humming noise. Picture was just fine, but the noise was loud. I checked both fans which seemed to be fine, so I ordered the replacement color wheel. When I replaced the color wheel and turned the set back on, the skin color on everyone is bright blue. What can I do?

On the metal box where the two cables from the color wheel plugged look for a tiny rectangular opening in the metal shield---there is a tiny jumper plug there, remove it carefully with a tiny pair of needle nose pliers. One of the things t ... Samsung DLP HL-P5663W 56" TV

If see red, blue, and green spots in the picture. Is this a color wheel problem. (I recently replaced the lamp.) If it is the color wheel, can I replace the color wheel? Or is it not worth the cost?

If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem. If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured. You can search google for parts o ... Samsung 61 Service Model: HLP6163WX/XAA Model: HL-P6163W Samsung DLP with flickering and partial freeze frame upon start up persisting for about 10 minutes before picture (from any signal source) will resolve and then operate properly for as long as the set is left on. DLP bulb recently replaced and does not appear to be the symptoms of a bad color wheel. Could this be a light engine issue? DMD issue? light tunnel issue? ballast issue? Not sure how to trouble shoot... please help...

If using a cable or sat box try a DVD etc when set cold, a box can cause lockup issues via signal. Not a color wheel is correct, more likely a DMD which is rather pricy and almost as much as the entire light engine which comes with it. ... Samsung HLP6163W 61" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

I have a Samsung HLP 4674w DLP. The picture started to lose color and look like a negative image. Then it would get scrambled and eventually go out. Powering on and off sometimes fixed it, but only temporarily. Sometimes it would also turn off and on by itself. I thought it may be the lamp so I replaced it, but it did not fix the problem. Next I thought it may be the color wheel so I replaced that, but the problem did not go away. Also when this happens the Power switch will not turn the TV off.

You need to change the lamp out, it builds up a internal resistance, and pulls your voltaged down, it will get to the point where you TV will not come on at all. Replace your lamp, you can get one at ... Samsung HLP4674W 46" Rear Projection HDTV

I have the Samsung LED DLP Model number HLT6187SAX/XAA, Version RE01, Awhile ago while i was watching a movie the tv went black with just the audio still working. I turned off the tv than turned it back on, it came back on but with a blue green tint, it kept flashing blue. I took it apart and cleaned the heat sinks on the LED's as they were very dusty. Now it works fine but with out any red colors. I believe the red LED burnt out. Is there only one light engine for all the LED's or does each LED

I have a Samsung hlp5063w dlp tv. 1- loud buzzing noise coming from the left side of the set (looking from the front). When I tap it the noise tends to go away and come back. So I'm thinking it's the cooling fan for the lamp which I just replaced. Would the color wheel act like that when I'm tapping the side of the tv? The picture is beautiful and there are no problems there. 2- If its the cooling fan, how do I replace it?

It is much more likely considering all these the wheel fails to be your issue. The problem is often described as a fan like or high pitched sound which since the motor on the wheel turns at over 12,000 rpm is likely to be the cause.Hin ... Samsung Projection Televisions

No picture on a DLP when you can see the lamp is working is ALWAYS the DLP chip. BECAUSE you recently replaced the color wheel, i suspect that the LVDS/data cable to the light engine was not plugged in well and has come loose. I suggest checking and ... I am thinking about buying a Samsung 72" DLP (Hlt7288wx/xaa) for $500. The seller says a tv repairman says it needs a color wheel replacement. Do you think this is something that would be difficult to install and likely have more problems down the road? Thanks in advance

The older projection tv's you had a screen control to adjust each individual color...I would be increasing the red and blue screen controls to get a white bal. These newer sets don't have that?. I heard that the complete light engine assy has to be replaced. Is this true?.

I wonder if you can give some advice. Please. I have a Samsung DLP HLT5076S that is 3 1/2 years old. I replaced the lamp in November 2010 from a bulb site on line because I had no picture and three flashing lights. After reading several forums this seemed the solution. After that seemed to work well. However, shortly thereafter I began to hear a very slight buzzing noise. So I researched that and most things pointed to color wheel. I didn't hear the high pitch whining though just a slight buzz.

There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both - either can cause transformer buzz and / or inability to power up.Any caps in these sections (or any other section for t ... Flat Panel Televisions

I have a samsung hlp6163wx/xaa I replaced ballast and bulb. Color wheel sounds good but just a dark blue picture and perfect sound what could it be?
